2020 Taipei Cycle Show Grows By 17%

TAIPEI CYCLE will be held at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall 1 and 2, from 4th to 7th March, bringing together bicycles and spare parts, including electric bicycles, motor systems, smart applications and services. 1,250 companies will participate in the promotion of the concept of “smart x bicycle x life”.

TAIPEI CYCLE is now the second largest bicycle exhibition in the world. It not only provides a platform for manufacturers to trade, but also actively promotes bicycle culture. The 2020 show edition also sees the launch of its new “Cycling Service” zone, including bicycle tourism, community, cycling training, and other elements.

Responding to the government’s policy slogan “2021: the Bicycle Tourism Year”, the Taiwanese Ministry of Communications’ Tourism Bureau will lead the county and city governments to participate. Japan will also join them to promote bicycle tourism culture.

Software application service providers Wahoo Fitness, Compat, and other manufacturers will also participate in the show and provide cycling system solutions for IoT applications. In addition, this year’s exhibition includes the cycling fashion show for the first time, where the latest fashions, bicycles, accessories, and smart wear will be introduced.

Not only that, TAIPEI CYCLE will continue to conduct test rides, international forums and cultural salons. Through multi-channel and multi-level themed discussions and content. TAIPEI CYCLE not only serves as a platform for product exhibition and business relationship building, but also deeper leverage for bicycle life, culture, and fashion.

The show organiser, Taiwan External Development Council, said that in 2020. The overall scale of the 3,800 booths will increase by 17% compared to the previous year. In line with global market trends, the “Electric Bicycle and Motor System Area” will be specially set up to invite electric bicycle manufacturers at home and abroad to participate.

This year, visitor pre-registration to attend the exhibition will open on 1st November.
