16th Mar 2018, Pulau Langkawi – A total of 22 teams were welcomed on stage at Le Tour de Langkawi 2018 Team Presentation Ceremony, held at Langkawi Eagle Square, overseeing the scenic waterfront plaza and Jeti Pelancongan Pekan Rabu.
Since its first inception in 1996, Le Tour de Langkawi has become an important feature in the UCI Asia Tour calendar. The 23rd edition of this prestigious race will be the biggest ever participation from Malaysia comprising 24 cyclists from 4 teams. Catch them as they will be doing their utmost efforts to the finish lines.
Anuar Manan from Forca Amskins Racing (FAR) shared with us that he feels exceptionally happier this year as he will be racing in LTdL 2018 with his new team. “I am thankful for our sponsors as well as supporters. Also, there will be 4 local teams participating, so whichever Malaysian rider wins a victory, I will feel happy for them.”
Anuar also revealed that one of the riders in his team is experienced in Hors Class (HC) races, for instance, Tour of Hainan. Therefore, FAR will try their best to achieve good results.
After their praiseworthy debut in the 2017 edition of Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL), Malaysian UCI Continental Team Sapura Cycling returns to LTdL 2018 for another compelling show.

The 23rd edition of the race will be held over the period of 8 days from 18 to 25 March. Stage 1 of LTdL 2018 will take place on 18 Mar (Sunday) covering Kangar, Perlis to Kulim with a distance of 147.9km.
