Nur Amirul Fakhruddin took the victory in the road race of the Malaysian National Championships, which ended on 30 June 2019.
The rider of Terengganu Inc TSG Cycling Team claimed the title one day after the Individual Time Trial which was won by Muhammad Zawawi Azman (Team Sapura Cycling).
The road race ended at The Gap Resthouse, Fraser’s Hill, and was held under breezy conditions because of the higher altitudes. Nur Amirul beat fellow contenders in a thrilling finish to win the 2019 edition of National Road Race Championships.
Akmal Hakim Zakaria of Team Sapura Cycling clinched second place, whereas Sofian Nabil Omar of Team Selangor took the third place.
