20th August 2018, Silverstone – Malaysian motorsports athlete, Nabil Jeffri together with his teammates, Jazeman Jaafar and Weiron Tan achieved P2 in the LMP2 of the World Endurance Championships in Silverstone and it was their First Pole Position and Podium for this season.
The youngest F1 test driver in the world, Nabil not only shines at car racing internationally from being ranked 2nd overall champion in the JK Racing Asia Series in 2012, crowded 2nd overall champion in ATS German Formula 3 Championship in 2014, 3rd at the 4 Hours of Sepang in the Asian Le Mans Series 2017/18, completed the World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps Belgium and 24 Hours of Le Man France to more, but also excels at multisports from cycling, running, duathlon to triathlon.
In addition to his profession which requires endurance training, Nabil, on a regular basis, also performs all kinds of fitness exercises. When he is not driving a race car, he usually spends some spare time cycling with Malaysian professional cyclists, to build leg strength which complements to auto racing.
Apart from Nabil’s recreations, he has also participated in several duathlon and triathlon races. At the IRONMAN 70.3 Langkawi 2017, he finished first in his age group category (18 – 24) with a time of 05:24:55, which qualified him for a slot at the 2018 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship.
Recently, he placed 3rd in men open category – Olympic Distance at the Sepang Duathlon 2018 and competed in Team Time Trial (45km) at MEX RIDE 2018.
