Black Forest Golf and Country Club (BFGCC) organized the Black Forest MTB Challenge. This was the first Mountain Bike Challenge event hosted on a golf course, successfully attracting 1000 participants.
BFGCC has collaborated with Persatuan Dyslexia Malaysia and Special Olympics Kuala Lumpur. Furthermore, a portion of the proceeds went to Persatuan Dyslexia Malaysia.
The event was flagged off by YB Dato’ Hj Ahmad Zaini Bin Japar (ADUN Bukit Kayu Hitam).
The challenge was a 46km circuit, which took the riders over 20km into The Army Training Area, around the 18 holes of the golf course, into the jungle area, palm oil plantation, international border area, swamp and The Great Wall of Black Wood Hill – all located in the vicinity of BFGCC.
Sponsors included Rapidino, Delfi Marketing, Permanis Sdn Bhd, Key Power Sports, RockTape, Golfmate, Adabi, 1M4U, The Zon, Yayasan Harmoni and Giant.
A total of RM43,700 cash prize and lucky draw winnings worth RM50,000 including 1 motorbike, 1 Perodua Axia car, 1 TV, 2 Rapidino collector’s bicycles, smartphones, tablets, vouchers and bicycle accessories.
