7th July 2018, Selangor – The prestigious CIMB Cycle saw more than 3,000 riders from 26 countries converged at Sepang International Circuit. The 2018 edition of CIMB Cycle featured increased route distance of up to 160km and 90km.
Participants covered a total distance of 160km of endurance ride and 90km of challenge ride, respectively. The route featured flat coastal roads, nice rolling hills and riders starting and ending on the tarmac of the circuit. Professional track cyclist, Azizualhasni Awang also showed his gracing presence at the flag-off.
Berjaya Sompo Insurance as the official partner, Drive Energy Drink, Mule Bar, Shimano, Nestle Milo, Toyota, IntraBike, Garmin, Giant, Rudy Project, Orbit Cycle and One Cycling Industry as the official suppliers, the event was overjoyed with the showing of UCI Continental Teams including Terengganu Cycling Team, Forca Amskins Racing, and Team Sapura Cycling.
