OBTAINING SELF-ACTUALIZATION

Self-actualization is the summit. It is the quest of reaching one’s full potential as a person. As one grows psychologically, there are always novelties continuing to grow.

Time constraints have also led Koo to minimize his maintenance services. “My customers are considerate. They would buy bicycle components from me, but assemble the parts by themselves.” Anyway, a full bike service costs RM100.

We could see that the majority of products in Koo’s shop are from TRS. Why is it so?

Koo is contented with TRS bicycles because the prices serve my customers’ needs. “The specifications satisfy my customers’ needs as well as the models and designs. Most importantly, TRS products offer reliable performances.”

What is the amount of TRS bicycles does Koo sell in a month?

“I sell more than 100 bicycles to amateur cyclists in a month. The popular prices range from RM100 to RM500. People need a basic bicycle at affordable prices.” Meantime, Koo delightedly proclaimed that he is selling more than 100 pieces of tyres as well as 200 to 250 pieces of tubes in a week.

AT WHAT AGE WILL KOO RETIRE?

Being responsible to fatherhood is a duty. Koo’s eldest son will soon be joining the workforce to contribute the country’s economic growth. He understands that four of his children do not have any intentions in running the family business; however he blesses them to have a great career and achieve greater success.

Koo has reached the level of self-actualization by accepting and comfortable with his children’s decisions.

Being accountable as a son, Koo has committed 3-decades to Lian Xin Enterprise. “I am jaded with my daily routines. Recently, I have picked up cycling to keep myself energetic and healthy. To answer your question, I will continue to run this business until that one day arrives. My children may be unmoved by their careers. They are welcome to come back to this little hut and I will share the beauty of satisfying the customers’ needs with them.” Koo imparted his pride as a man who will be stepping into his fifties.

In Koo’s business mantra, feeding basic needs, fulfilling resources and perceiving his self-actualization are what he has been pursuing from his knowledge and experience.

You make a living by what you earn, you make a life by what you give.

There are experts, eager to share their skills and advices. There are cyclists, enthusiastic about welcoming you into the sport and the community. There are household goods users, obliged to get their kitchen tools. There is Koo, dedicated to deliver a much appreciated service appeasing people’s needs.
