Carrying on from the success of the previous edition, the Kampar Majesty Ride came back this year to continue promoting Kampar’s tradition in food and service.
Kampar has a rich tin mining history, and has not become the educational hub of Perak. Aside from the goal of raising awareness about such tradition, the event also aimed to promote the Visit Malaysia Year.
A total of 530 riders gathered on the road and took a 60km ride together. Flagged off at 7.30am by Yang Berbahagia Datuk Abd Rahman Bin MD Som, the ride was made possible by Grand Kampar Hotel, together with the Kampar Cycling Community.
The event sponsors included Tourism Perak, G-Cycle, Donensport, Huges Corporation, Cycling Malaysia, The Star, St. John Ambulance, RELA, PDRM (Kampar), Sin Ban Heng, Synergym, Cherry House and Imprint Services, among others.
A total of RM5,300.00 of registration proceeds were chaneled to the Living Hope Malaysia.
