Resulting from 5 years of research and refining, and thanks to extensive computational fluid dynamics (CFD) research and wind tunnel testing, this aerodynamically efficient bicycle is claimed to offer a better performance advantage compared to other bicycle out on the market.

Its deep, tear dropped profiled downtube works to reduce incoming air resistance, thus increasing the overall aerodynamics efficiency. There’s also the head tube which has been built squat, allowing for a low and proper head down cycling position, and resulting in a more aerodynamically efficient riding position. The seatpost is built with an aero shape with no visible seatpost clamp.

Apart from the aero details, the Boardman Elite Air 9.0’s frame is quite a treat to look at. Weighing a commendable 8.4kg, it is metallic red on most of the parts and is further complemented by the funky yellow highlights. This truly adds character to the bicycle, don’t you think?
