TSG & UMT Teamed Up To Raise Talented Riders

5th November 2018, Terengganu – Terengganu Cycling Team (TSG) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) in conjunction with the launch of TSG Academy.

The MoU was signed by UMT Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Che Mohd Ruzaidi Ghazali, and UMT Sports and Recreation Center Director Mohamad Rafee Jusoh. TSG was represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Ahmad Farhan Abd Wahab, and its Chief Operating Officer, Nasiruddin Wan Idrus.

The collaboration aims to establish a partnership in several aspects such as resource management, facility, and research related to cycling sports between TSG and UMT.

TSG Academy will be served as a platform to produce quality riders to represent TSG, the state, and the country while TSG continues to unleash new talents and enhance existing riders’ performance. The ultimate goal is to grow cycling which has been internationally renowned.

The significant occasion was witnessed by the State Youth, Sports, and NGO Development Committee chairman Wan Sukairi Wan Abdullah and Kuala Nerus District Officer Datuk Tengku Farok Hussin Tengku Abdul Jalil.
